Sourced from around the world, our rugs are handmade to order in Europe, Nepal and India by artisans using traditional carpet-making techniques.

We use the highest quality natural fibers such as wool, linen, silk, and tencel. Our thoughtful, wide-ranging color palette by award-winning color expert Kristie Strasen of Textiles + Color is fresh and modern but also rich and subtle. Many patterns offer color and texture crossover between styles, helping designers cohesively specify larger sized projects. We think of our collection as the place where classic carpetmaking methods and materials meet contemporary texture and classic color. The new basics.

Our projects range from private residences, to bespoke creations for retail and corporate settings, all the way to large-scale production for hospitality.  We never shy away from customization and will always do our best to get you what you need, on time.

In May 2018, 150-year-old flooring expert, Aronson’s Floor Covering launched a portfolio of handmade custom rugs named for their home state of New York: The Empire Collection. Situated in a 5,000-square-foot showroom on a design-centric block in Chelsea, Aronson’s is known by professionals as the go-to store for innovative flooring solutions, working on projects ranging from private residences, hotels and apartment buildings and retail environments, to corporate office interiors worldwide.
